Regular Season Round 12: Ammerud Bskt - Centrum 79-84

Centrum has finally registered their first victory this season after 13 consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Oslo, where they defeated Ammerud Bskt (4-8) 84-79. The winners were led by guard Johan Flaa (185-99, college: Santa Rosa JC) who scored that evening 30 points and 6 rebounds and guard Simon Midtvedt (180-96) supported him with 16 points and 4 assists. Centrum's coach used entire bench in such tough game. Even 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by Swedish swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) did not help to save the game for Ammerud Bskt. American power forward Joshua Sykes (203, college: Fresno City) added 20 points and 13 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Centrum maintains tenth position with 1-13 record. It was Ammerud Bskt's fourth loss in a row. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost. Centrum will play against higher ranked Nidaros Jets (#9) in Tromdheim in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ammerud Bskt will play on the road against Fyllingen BBK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
