Regular Season Round 6: H.Acre - E.Netanya 96-99

There was a minor upset when 11th ranked H.Acre (1-3) was edged at home by fourteenth ranked E.Netanya (2-4) 99-96 on Tuesday. E.Netanya made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 H.Acre turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Bryce Washington (201-96, college: La-Lafayette) who scored 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Swingman Itay Moskovich (192-0) chipped in 22 points and 7 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). E.Netanya's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Davell Davell (195-96, college: St.Louis) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and his fellow American import forward Timothy Williams (205-93, college: N.Mexico) added 26 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) respectively. Five E.Netanya and four H.Acre players scored in double figures. E.Netanya moved-up to eleventh place. Newly promoted H.Acre dropped to the twelfth position with three games lost. E.Netanya will face Elitzur Yavne (#12) at home in the next round. H.Acre will play against Maccabi Ashdod and hope to win that game.
