Very predictable result in Mogi das Cruzes where third ranked Minas (9-1) beat 9th ranked Mogi (4-5) 80-74 on Wednesday. Minas made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Bahamas David Nesbitt (203-91, college: St.Thomas, FL) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Uruguayan guard Luciano Parodi (189-94) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists. Four Minas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international point guard Fulvio de-Assis (186-81) who recorded 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and Fabricio Russo (196-85) added 16 points respectively. Mogi's coach Jorge Guerra rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Minas have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place.
