Very expected game in Minsk where 9th ranked RGUOR (2-10) was crushed by fifth ranked Rubon (9-5) 91-53 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Rubon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding RGUOR to just 7 points in third quarter. Rubon forced 32 RGUOR turnovers and outrebounded them 57-36 including a 26-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by RGUOR's players. It was a great evening for the former international forward Victor Ovsepyan (202-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Russian forward Marsel Ovsepyan (202-90) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds. Rubon's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was forward Ivan Balduev (196-4) with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Timur Michailov (196-4) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Rubon maintains fifth place with 9-5 record. RGUOR lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. Rubon will have a break next round. RGUOR will play on the road against Brest (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
