Important game to mention about took place in Tallinn. Ninth ranked TalTech (6-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging higher ranked Rapla (8-6) 77-74 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Rapla. TalTech forced 19 Rapla turnovers. Rapla was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Tanel Sokk (184-85) who scored 21 points and 4 assists. Point guard Eric Schmalz (185-99) chipped in 16 points. Slovakian point guard Mario Ihring (192-98, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 30 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and American-Nigerian Al-Wajid Aminu (201-98, college: N.Florida) added 10 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Rapla players scored in double figures. TalTech have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Loser Rapla keeps the fifth position with six games lost.
