Regular Season Round 20: Nova Ves - Lucenec 81-61

An interesting game for Nova Ves (11-5) which hosted in Nova Ves one of their biggest challengers Lucenec (9-6). Second ranked Nova Ves had an easy win 81-61. Nova Ves had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian forward Marko Stevanovic (203-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Serbian Milan Nikolic (200-92) who added 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. American guard Roydell Brown (198-98, college: McNeese St.) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and international guard Robert Rozanek (190-96) scored 15 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nova Ves maintains second position with 11-5 record behind leader Levice. Lucenec at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. Nova Ves will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lucenec will play on the road against Handlova and hopes to get back on the winning track.
