The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth ranked Poznan's (3-9) home victory over 11th ranked Slask 3 (3-9) 91-84 on Wednesday. Poznan forced 23 Slask 3 turnovers. Strangely Slask 3 outrebounded Poznan 43-25 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Adrian Szajek (182-3) stepped up and scored 22 points and 4 assists for the winners and swingman Szymon Sobiech (196-2) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Poznan players scored in double figures. At the losing side Wojciech Siembiga (195-3) responded with 21 points and Igor Kozlowski (195-1) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Poznan maintains tenth place with 3-9 record, which they share with defeated Slask 3. Slask 3 lost their fourth game in a row. Poznan will face higher ranked Rycerze (#3) in Rydzyna in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
