Round 4 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Petah Tikva (3-1). They were defeated by ninth ranked Ashdod (2-2) 85-78 on Thursday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Petah Tikva. Ashdod made 19-of-19 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of center Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and point guard Alexis Peterson (173-95, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) who added 22 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals (made all of her ten free throws !!!) during the contest. Five Ashdod players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Jocelyn Willoughby (183-98, college: Virginia, agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds and guard Kaila Charles (185-98, college: Maryland, agency: LBM Management) scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Ashdod moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Petah Tikva at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Ramla. Petah Tikva will play next round against Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Ashdod will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Maccabi Ramat Gan in Ramat Hen.
