Trinidad and Tobago-Canadian Kris Joseph (201-88, college: Syracuse) stepped up and scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and point guard Ayoze Alonso (187-91) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Swedish point guard Jan-Melwin Pantzar (193-0) with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international forward Nacho Martin (202-83) scored 16 points. Four Burgos and five Valladolid players scored in double figures. Valladolid's coach Hugo Lopez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Burgos moved-up to fifth place in Gold. Valladolid at the other side dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. Burgos will play against league's second-placed Leyma Basquet in Coruna in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Valladolid will play on the road against Ourense (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
