Leader Flamengo recorded the eleventh victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 14th ranked Brasilia (2-10) 103-74. Flamengo looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Argentinian point guard Franco Balbi (188-89) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Olivinha Rodriguez (202-83) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Flamengo players scored in double figures. Flamengo's coach Gustavo Conti felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Sammy Yeager (193-89, college: CS Fullerton) with 16 points and 6 assists and forward Diego Conceicao (199-87) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Flamengo have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. Loser Brasilia keeps the fourteenth place with ten games lost.
