The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked FC Barcelona 2 (8-2) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by tenth ranked Pardinyes-L. (4-6) 71-66. Guard Oriol Besora (182-97) scored 17 points to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Kenny Hatch (183-94, college: TAMIU) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Pardinyes-L. players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard David Font (193-0) responded with 22 points and Senegalese guard El-Hadji Badio (188-99) scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. FC Barcelona 2's coach Mateo Rubio tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Pardinyes-L. moved-up to eighth place in Silver. FC Barcelona 2 at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Pardinyes-L. are looking forward to face La Roda (#14) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. FC Barcelona 2 will play against Albacete (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
