We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when ninth ranked Marbella (4-2) beat at home 8th ranked Clavijo (4-6) 70-66 on Saturday. Danish swingman David Knudsen (196-94, college: Marist) scored 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Lucas Munoz (184-1) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Albert Lafuente (185-99) responded with 13 points and 4 assists and swingman Javier Marin (194-94) scored 9 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Marbella moved-up to eighth place in Silver. Loser Clavijo dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Marbella will face higher ranked Zamorano (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Clavijo will play against Zentro Basket and hope to win that game.
