Regular Season Round 4: Bernareggio - Bologna Basket 92-80

There was a change at the Serie B leadership position after last games. Round 4 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Bologna Basket (3-1). They were defeated by fifth ranked Tessilform Bernareggio (3-1) 92-80 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Bologna Basket. It was a key game for the second position in B. Tessilform Bernareggio made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Stefano Laudoni (197-89) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Simone Aromando (200-97, agency: SLN) who added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side center Eugenio Beretta (208-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Alberto Conti (195-98) scored 20 points and 4 assists. Four Bologna Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tessilform Bernareggio moved-up to second place in B, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Bologna Basket. Bologna Basket will play next round against Agrigento trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Tessilform Bernareggio will try to continue on its current victory against fifteenth ranked Sangiorgese in San Giorgio.
