Regular Season Round 4: Cassino - Formia 68-72

There was an upset when higher ranked Cassino (1-3) was defeated at home by seventeenth ranked Formia (1-2) 72-68 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Andrea Longobardi (199-94) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Luigi Cimminella (176-99) who added 18 points during the contest. Formia's coach Giovanni Di Rocco used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Bosnian-Serbian power forward Njegos Visnjic (200-79) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Simone Rischia (185-90) scored 21 points and 4 assists. Four Cassino players scored in double figures. Formia left bottom position moving up to sixth place in B. Loser Cassino dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Formia will face higher ranked Roma Luiss (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cassino will play against the league's leader Rieti (#1) and hope to win that game.
