There was a small surprise when sixteenth ranked Senigallia (1-3) edged on the road bottom-ranked Monfalcone (0-3) 107-106 on Saturday. Senigallia made 40-of-49 free shots (81.6 percent) during the game. Monfalcone was plagued by 38 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Giacomo Gurini (192-84) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and guard Michele Peroni (190-94) who added 23 points during the contest. At the losing side Giulio Casagrande (199-93, agency: Players Group) responded with 26 points and 8 rebounds and center Devil Medizza (200-90) scored 16 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Senigallia and four Monfalcone players scored in double figures. Monfalcone's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Senigallia left bottom position moving up to eleventh place in B, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser Monfalcone still closes the standings with three games lost. Senigallia will face U.
