Argon Uni Girona dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to ASEFA Estudiantes' 22. The winners were led by Czech center Julia Reisingerova (194-98) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian forward Sonja Vasic (189-89) supported her with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by Belgian Jana Raman (185-91) did not help to save the game for ASEFA Estudiantes. Nigerian-American forward Atonye Nyingifa (180-90, college: UCLA) added 9 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Argon Uni Girona maintains third position with 13-2 record having four points less than leader Avenida. Newly promoted ASEFA Estudiantes dropped to the fourth place with six games lost.
