The game with biggest result difference took place in Forssa. Local Forssan Alku (8-3) outscored 9th ranked Catz Lappeenranta (3-10) 83-62 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Forssan Alku. Catz Lappeenranta managed to win second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forssan Alku dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Catz Lappeenranta's 28. Forssan Alku forced 19 Catz Lappeenranta turnovers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Forssan Alku. They maintain third place with 8-3 record having six points less than leader Espoo Team. Loser Catz Lappeenranta keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. Forssan Alku will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Catz Lappeenranta will play against the league's second-placed Peli-Karhut (#2) and hope to secure a win.
