Regular Season Round 12: Empoli - San Martino 59-58

The most exciting game of round 12 in the Serie A1 took place in Empoli. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked San Martino (4-7) to seventh ranked Empoli (7-5) 59-58 on Sunday evening. San Martino's coach Gianluca Abignente rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Empoli moved-up to sixth place. Empoli are looking forward to face higher ranked Sesto SG (#5) in Sesto San Giovanni in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
