There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Treviglio (3-2) won against at home one of their biggest challengers Torino (3-2) 77-66 on Sunday. Treviglio looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international swingman Davide Reati (194-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard JJ Frazier (178-95, college: Georgia) contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Treviglio players scored in double figures. Naturalized Senegalese power forward Ousmane Diop (205-0) replied with 27 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Alessandro Cappelletti (186-95) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Torino. Treviglio moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Torino. Treviglio will face Orzinuovi (#7) on the road in the next round. Torino will play against Mantova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
