There was a minor upset when higher ranked Agrigento (2-2) was edged on the road by twelfth ranked Ragusa (2-2) 70-69 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Beninese power forward Karim Idrissou (200-0) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Fabio Stefanini (198-93) who added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Ragusa's coach Antonio Bocchino used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (197-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Paolo Rotondo (204-89, agency: Players Group) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Agrigento players scored in double figures. Ragusa moved-up to sixth place in B, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Agrigento. Ragusa will face Palermo (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
