Regular Season Round 10: Castello 2 - Godella 70-73

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Godella (4-4) edged on the road 8th ranked Castello 2 (1-6) 73-70 on Sunday. Godella forced 20 Castello 2 turnovers. It was a very good performance for forward David Carrascosa (193-94) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. Borja Garcia (190-96) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Miguel Moragas (203-94) replied with 13 points (made all of his eight free throws) and Jose-Maria Torres (187-2) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Castello 2. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Godella moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Castello 2 keeps the eighth position with six games lost. Godella will face Puerto Sagunto (#4) in Gilet in the next round. Castello 2 will play on the road against Paterna (#3) and hope to win that game.
