Very expected game when 10th ranked Cecina (1-3) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Chiusi (3-1) 97-68 on Sunday. Chiusi forced 21 Cecina turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Francesco Fratto (200-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and guard Luca Pollone (195-97, agency: Players Group) who added 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Chiusi players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Saverio Bartoli (194-0) responded with 17 points and 9 assists and Manuel Di-Meco (202-97, agency: SLN) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Cecina's coach Roberto Russo gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Chiusi moved-up to second place in B, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Cecina dropped to the eleventh position with three games lost. Chiusi will face Flying Balls (#9) in Ozzano dell Emilia in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cecina will play at home against Use Basket and hope to win that game.
