There was no surprise when 8th ranked Raanana (1-4) was defeated on the road by third ranked Bnot Hertzeliya (3-2) 89-80. American guard Marina Mabrey (180-96, college: Notre Dame, agency: Wasserman) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Nigerian-American power forward Victoria Macaulay (193-90, college: Temple) contributed with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. American guard Taylor Emery (178-97, college: Virginia Tech) answered with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import swingman Kaela Davis (188-95, college: S.Carolina) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Raanana. Five Raanana players scored in double figures. Bnot Hertzeliya maintains third place with 3-2 record having just two points less than leader Ramla, which they share with Ramat Gan and Holon.
