Regular Season Round 11: Alcobendas - CAM E.Soler 83-85

There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked CAM E.Soler (2-6) edged on the road 10th ranked Alcobendas (3-7) 85-83 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was power forward Carlos Poyatos (207-94) who scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Eudaldo-Imobach Gonzalez (193-93) chipped in 20 points. Jorge Tejera (200-92) produced 20 points and Croatian center Filip Krajina (209-95) added 11 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five CAM E.Soler and four Alcobendas players scored in double figures. Alcobendas' coach Jose Antonio Ramirez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. CAM E.Soler moved-up to twelfth place in Silver. Alcobendas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. CAM E.Soler will face higher ranked Algeciras (#10) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
