Liga Dia top team - Perfumerias Avenida (17-0) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Promete (6-10) in Logrono 75-44. Perfumerias Avenida forced 19 Promete turnovers. Serbian center Nikolina Milic (191-94) stepped up and scored 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and American swingman Tiffany Hayes (177-89, college: UConn) chipped in 9 points and 4 assists. Senegalese center Maimouna Diarra (198-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Laia Flores (171-96, college: S.Florida) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Perfumerias Avenida have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 17-0 record. Promete at the other side keeps the twelfth position with ten games lost. Perfumerias Avenida are looking forward to face Al-Qazeres (#14) in Caceres in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Promete will play on the road against ASEFA Estudiantes in Madrid and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
