Very predictable result in Gilet where fourth ranked Puerto Sagunto (8-5) defeated 9th ranked Torrent (1-8) 83-68 on Wednesday. Puerto Sagunto looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for guard Marcos Garcia (192-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points. Forward Carlos Diaz (192-96) helped adding 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Puerto Sagunto players scored in double figures. Forward Alejandro Terrades (196-1) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Pablo Murcia (179) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Puerto Sagunto maintains fourth place in Group E-A with 8-5 record. Torrent lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. Puerto Sagunto will face league's second-placed Paterna at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
