The most exciting game of round 11 in the Winner League took place in Rishon Le-Zion. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 7th ranked M.Rishon (4-4) to third ranked Galil Gilboa (7-2) 71-69 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of M.Rishon. They outrebounded M.Rishon 44-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. His fellow American import center Jehyve Floyd (203-97, college: Holy Cross) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Galil Gilboa's coach Lior Lubin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Panamanian-American forward Akil Mitchell (206-92, college: Virginia) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Isaiah Taylor (189-94, college: Texas) added 10 points and 8 assists in the effort for M.Rishon. Galil Gilboa moved-up to second place, which they share with H.Jerusalem. M.Rishon at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Galil Gilboa is looking forward to face H.Haifa (#5) at home in the next round. M.Rishon will play against Hapoel Jerusalem and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
