Very important is a road loss of third ranked Lucenec (10-8) against fifth ranked Inter Bratislava (7-9) on Wednesday night. Visiting Lucenec was defeated by Inter Bratislava in a tough game in Bratislava 58-66. Inter Bratislava outrebounded Lucenec 42-30 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Argentinian point guard Lautaro Lopez (190-99) who scored that evening 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Lithuanian forward Arnas Berucka (195-97, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Even 13 points and 7 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) by American forward James Murray-Boyles (201-97, college: UNCP) did not help to save the game for Lucenec. International guard Robert Rozanek (190-96) added 10 points and 5 assists. Defending champion maintains fifth position with 7-9 record. Lucenec at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. Inter Bratislava will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lucenec will play at home against the league's leader Levice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
