There was no surprise when 13th ranked Cagliari CUS (2-8) was crushed on the road by second ranked Faenza (9-1) 71-36. Faenza forced 22 Cagliari CUS turnovers. Point guard Rachele Porcu (170-97) nailed 10 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Latvian power forward Liga Vente (190-91, college: Eckerd) accounted for 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Slovenian power forward Ana Ljubenovic (185-88) came up with 6 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Israeli point guard Giulia Prosperi (178-97) added 7 points respectively for Cagliari CUS in the defeat. Despite that victory Faenza went down to third position (A2) due to points difference. Cagliari CUS at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with eight games lost.
