Regular Season Round 16: Czarni - Krosno 82-81

Eighth-ranked Miasto Szkla (7-8) gave a tough game to second ranked Czarni (14-2) in Slupsk on Saturday. Czarni managed to secure only one-point victory 82-81. However their fans expected much easier game. Czarni looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Dawid Slupinski (206-92) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) who added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. Four Czarni players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) responded with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Bartosz Ciechocinski (203-91) scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. Czarni have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Walbrzych. Miasto Szkla at the other side dropped to the tenth place with eight games lost. Czarni is looking forward to face Pelplin (#12) in Pelpin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Miasto Szkla will play at home against Pruszkow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
