Regular Season Round 12: Pabianice - Bochnia 81-61

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Bochnia (3-9) was crushed on the road by third ranked Pabianice (10-3) 81-61. Pabianice dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Bochnia's 30. Pabianice forced 23 Bochnia turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by point guard Aleksandra Dziwinska (172-91) who scored that evening 19 points and 9 assists and forward Magdalena Grzelak (185-91) supported her with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 26 points and 6 rebounds by forward Magdalena Puter (179-93) did not help to save the game for Bochnia. Guard Julia Natkaniec (171-0) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. Bochnia's coach Malgorzata Misiuk rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Pabianice maintains third position in Group B with 10-3 record having four points less than leader AZS PK. Newly promoted Bochnia dropped to the ninth place with nine games lost. Pabianice's next round opponent will be Katy Wrocl. (#8) in Katy Wroclawskie where they are favorite. Bochnia will play on the road against the league's second-placed MUKS Poznan and hope to win that game.
