Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Vanoli Cremona and 10th ranked Brescia had identical 5-7 record. But Brescia was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Cremona 89-85 on Sunday night. Strangely Brescia outrebounded Vanoli Cremona 39-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. The former international guard David Cournooh (187-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points. American guard TJ Williams (190-94, college: Northeastern) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Serbian center Dusan Ristic (214-95, college: Arizona, agency: BeoBasket) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds and American Tyler Kalinoski (193-92, college: Davidson) added 12 points and 5 assists in the effort for Brescia. Four Brescia players scored in double figures. Vanoli Cremona (6-7) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Pesaro and Trento. Loser Brescia dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. Vanoli Cremona will face league's leader Armani Milano at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Brescia will play against Pesaro (#8) and hope to win that game.
