Serie A top team - Armani Milano (12-1) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Pesaro (6-7) 97-93. Armani Milano made 27-of-30 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Zach LeDay (202-94, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Wasserman) notched 24 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and Danish forward Shavon Shields (201-94, college: Nebraska) supported him with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Armani Milano's coach Ettore Messina let to play all 12 players in such tough game. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds by naturalized Argentinian Carlos Delfino (198-82) did not help to save the game for Pesaro. American point guard Justin Robinson (173-95, college: Monmouth) added 15 points and 8 assists for the guests. Five Armani Milano and four Pesaro players scored in double figures. Armani Milano maintains first position with 12-1 record. Loser Pesaro keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Cremona and Trento. Armani Milano will meet Vanoli Cremona (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pesaro will play against Brescia and hope to secure a win.
