Regular Season Round 14: Chelmno - Notec Inowr. 69-79

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Chelmno (6-6) was defeated at home by third ranked Notec Inowr. (9-2) 79-69 on Sunday. Notec Inowr. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Notec Inowr. made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was guard Tomasz Kretkowski (182-93) who scored 22 points. Swingman Mateusz Stanczuk (194-0) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Krystian Rosinski (190-98) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and forward Daniel Belski (191-86) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Chelmno players scored in double figures. Notec Inowr. moved-up to second place, which they share with Rydzyna and Arka 2. Chelmno lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Notec Inowr. will face Ogniwo Szcz. (#6) in Szczecin in the next round. Chelmno will play on the road against Gniezno and hope to win that game.
