Regular Season Round 11: Novaschool - Andujar 77-87

There was a surprise result in Malaga where seventh ranked Andujar (4-3) beat second-ranked Novaschool (4-2) 87-77 on Saturday. It was a great evening for swingman Bernardo Castillo (196-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Guard Angel Vazquez (190-95) helped adding 11 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Center Anastasio Vazquez (204-92) responded with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Alejandro Vergara (196-95) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Andujar moved-up to fifth place in Group D-A. Loser Novaschool dropped to the third position with two games lost. Andujar will face ULB OH!TELS (#11) in La Linea in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Novaschool will play on the road against the league's leader Benahavis (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
