Very important is a road loss of third ranked Ostrow Mazow. (9-5) against sixth ranked LKS Lodz (8-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Ostrow Mazow. was defeated by LKS Lodz in Lodz 101-90. LKS Lodz dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Ostrow Mazow.'s 48 and made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. Kacper Dominiak (190-98) helped adding 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Przemyslaw Sloniewski (193-94) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Ukrainian point guard Aleksander Szczerbatiuk (177-96) scored 11 points. Five LKS Lodz and four Ostrow Mazow. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LKS Lodz have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place in Group B. Ostrow Mazow. at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Legia 2. LKS Lodz will play against Pabianice (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ostrow Mazow. will play against Zubry (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
