Regular Season Round 11: Quart - Granollers 65-61

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Granollers' (1-3) road loss to fourth ranked Quart (2-1) 61-65 on Saturday. Quart forced 22 Granollers turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Genis Bover (201-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Jordi Bataller (193-86) helped adding 11 points. Power forward Albert Griso (202-85) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and Jordi Serra (-95) scored 16 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Four Granollers players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Quart moved-up to third place in Group C4. Newly promoted Granollers keeps the fifth position with three games lost. Quart will face Llica (#4) in Llica d'Amunt in the next round. Granollers will play at home against Almozara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
