Bottom-ranked SDUSHOR (0-13) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 13th consecutive match to fifth ranked Rubon (9-5) 121-48 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Rubon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 90 of its points in the paint compared to SDUSHOR's 26. Rubon forced 46 SDUSHOR turnovers and outrebounded them 37-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 44 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by SDUSHOR's players. The best player for the winners was Russian guard Daniil Shibaev (185-1) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 assists. Guard Konstantin Satsuk (192-0) chipped in 21 points. Four Rubon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Mikita Dashkevich (175-1) who recorded 10 points and point guard Andrey Ozhgo (182-5) added 9 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rubon maintains fifth place with 9-5 record. SDUSHOR lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Rubon will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SDUSHOR will play against Grodno GrSU (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
