Regular Season Round 15: Tur Bielsk Pdl. - Kutno 118-94

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (12-2) crushed 11th ranked Kutno (3-11) in Bielsk Podlaski 118-94 on Saturday. Tur Bielsk Pdl. dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Kutno's 54 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Tur Bielsk Pdl. forced 20 Kutno turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Kutno's players. It was a good game for center Filip Pruefer (208-96) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Guard Kacper Rojek (190-0) contributed with 26 points and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Mateusz Krawiec (187-87) answered with 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Jan Grzelinski (180-94, college: Canisius) added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for Kutno. Five Tur Bielsk Pdl. and four Kutno players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tur Bielsk Pdl. maintains second place in Group B with 12-2 record having just 2 victories less than leader Rydzyna. Newly promoted Kutno keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will face AZS UW (#10) in Warszawa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kutno will play at home against Zyrardow and hope to win that game.
