Regular Season Round 15: Cracovia - MKS DG 2 86-90

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked MKS DG 2 (7-6) defeated 11th ranked Cracovia (4-9) in Krakow 90-86 on Saturday. Cracovia was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Pawel Jurczynski (183-91) who led his team to a victory with 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Konrad Dawdo (198-99) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Sebastian Dabek (188-96) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and center Maksymilian Jakubek (209-99) added 15 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Cracovia. Five Cracovia players scored in double figures. Cracovia's coach Lukasz Kasperzec tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. MKS DG 2 maintains sixth place in Group C with 7-6 record. Newly promoted Cracovia keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. MKS DG 2 will face Rybnik (#12) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Cracovia will play against AZS PWSTE in Jaroslaw and hope to win that game.
