2Liga top team - AZS AGH KR (14-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Rybnik (1-13) 115-73. AZS AGH KR dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Rybnik's 54. AZS AGH KR forced 33 Rybnik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for Bartosz Wrobel (190-95, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 5 steals. Pawel Zmarlak (195-82, agency: Promotex) contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Point guard Piotr Kawczynski (185-2) answered with 16 points and center Tomasz Czajkowski (203-82) added 8 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Rybnik. Five AZS AGH KR and four Rybnik players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. AZS AGH KR have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group C with 14-0 record. Rybnik lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 13 games lost. AZS AGH KR will face Tarn.Gory (#4) in Tarnowskie Gory in the next round. Rybnik will play on the road against MKS DG 2 (#6) in Dabrowa Gornicza and hope to win that game.
