The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked TalTech's (7-7) home victory over 10th ranked Tartu (5-10) 74-66. TalTech players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Tartu was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Erik Keedus (198-90, agency: Players Group) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds. The former international Indrek Kajupank (200-88) contributed with 20 points for the winners. TalTech will play against league's second-placed Parnu on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tartu will have a break next round.
