Regular Season Round 17: Dziki Wwa - WKK Wroclaw 86-73

Very important is a road loss of third ranked WKK Wroclaw (13-4) against sixth ranked Dziki Wwa (10-7) on Saturday night. Visiting WKK Wroclaw was defeated by Dziki Wwa in Warszawa 86-73. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of WKK Wroclaw. Dziki Wwa players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Point guard Patryk Gospodarek (184-94, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 9 assists. The former international Piotr Pamula (195-90) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Four Dziki Wwa players scored in double figures. The former international center Piotr Niedzwiedzki (210-93) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jakub Koelner (183-93) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for WKK Wroclaw. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dziki Wwa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Lancut. WKK Wroclaw at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Dziki Wwa will play against league's second-placed Czarni in Slupsk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. WKK Wroclaw will play at home against Kolobrzeg and hopes to get back on the winning track.
