Regular Season Round 12: Toulouse - Reims 70-63

The most important game in the last round took place in Toulouse between third ranked Reims (5-4) and seventh ranked Toulouse (6-1) on Saturday night. Reims was defeated by Toulouse in a tough game on the road 63-70. Toulouse made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Swedish guard Kalis Loyd (188-89, college: Lamar) who scored 26 points and 4 steals (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!). Isabelle Strunc (180-91) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Coline Franchelin (167-99) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and American power forward Shenita Landry (190-87, college: Temple) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Toulouse have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Reims at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Toulouse are looking forward to face league's leader Angers on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Reims will play against Calais (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
