Rather expected game when 7th ranked Tromso (6-9) lost to fifth ranked Baerum Basket (9-6) in Bekkestua 84-100. Baerum Basket forced 21 Tromso turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Prince Ali (193-95, college: UCLA) who scored 25 points. Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Baerum Basket players scored in double figures. Baerum Basket's coach Matthias Eckhoff used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American-Jamaican power forward Phil Henry (203-91, college: ENMU) produced 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Nigerian forward Anthony Elechi (203-93, college: Morehead St.) added 21 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests.
