Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Use Basket (3-3) defeated on the road 14th ranked Firenze (1-5) 82-77 on Sunday. It was a good game for Federico Ingrosso (190-94) who led his team to a victory with 18 points. Point guard Francesco Villa (183-97, agency: SLN) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Use Basket's coach Alessio Marchini allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Davide Poltroneri (195-85) replied with 16 points and Andrea Filippi (197-97) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Firenze. Five Firenze players scored in double figures. Use Basket moved-up to ninth place in B. Loser Firenze keeps the fourteenth position with five games lost. Use Basket will face higher ranked Livorno Libertas (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Firenze will play against Flying Balls (#8) in Ozzano dell Emilia and hope to win that game.
