Regular Season Round 12: Ferrara - Cento 74-59

Everything went according to plan when third ranked Ferrara (8-2) defeated at home 5th ranked Cento (3-3) 74-59 on Sunday. It was a good game for American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) who led his team to a victory with 22 points. Naturalized Swiss power forward Patrick Baldassarre (201-86, agency: Players Group) contributed with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Ferrara's coach Spiro Leka used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Giovanni Gasparin (191-91) replied with 10 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Tekele Cotton (188-93, college: Wichita St.) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Cento. Ferrara moved-up to second place in A2. Newly promoted Cento dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Ferrara will face Pistoia (#6) on the road in the next round. Cento will play against Ravenna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
