Regular Season Round 11: Roser - Vic 62-75

There was no surprise when 4th placed Roser (1-2) was defeated at home by second ranked Vic (4-1) 75-62 on Sunday. Vic forced 19 Roser turnovers. It was a great evening for naturalized Gambian forward Omar Toure (199-94) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. Forward David Vidal (194-97) helped adding 15 points. Four Vic players scored in double figures. Forward Jonel Palou (195-88) responded with 7 points and 10 rebounds and guard Raul Verano (187-99) scored 13 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Vic. They maintain second place in Group C3 with 4-1 record having just three point less than leader Mataro. Newly promoted Roser keeps the fourth position with two games lost. Vic will face league's leader Llucmajor at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Roser will play against Martinenc and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
