Regular Season Round 12: Raholan P. - LrNMKY 70-98

There was a minor upset in Tampere where 7th ranked Raholan P. (5-7) was crushed by ninth ranked LrNMKY (5-5) 98-70 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by LrNMKY. Raholan P. was better in third quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. LrNMKY forced 23 Raholan P. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Aubrey Conerly (183-83, college: Jacksonville) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 9 assists and 5 steals and center Elmeri Porvari (206-96) who added 18 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Eino Kandelin (183-0) with 14 points and 5 assists and swingman Jesse Niemi (194-90) scored 13 points. Five LrNMKY and four Raholan P. players scored in double figures. Raholan P.'s coach Juho Jaakkola gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. LrNMKY moved-up to seventh place in 1st Division. Loser Raholan P. dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. LrNMKY will face higher ranked Huima (#3) in Aanekoski in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Raholan P. will play on the road against Kipina (#6) in Aanekoski and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
