Regular Season Round 14: Rustavi - Kutaisi 93-83

There was a change at the Superleague leadership position after last games. Round 14 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Kutaisi (9-1). They were defeated by second ranked Rustavi (9-1) 93-83 on Tuesday night. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Kutaisi. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Rustavi. Kutaisi managed to win third quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rustavi looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Maliek White (190-98, college: Providence, agency: Mansfield and Associates) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward JyLan Washington (206-97, college: Tennessee St.) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Guard DeJuan Wright (190-88, college: FIU) responded with 24 points and 5 assists and point guard Kaheem Ransom (183-93, college: SHSU) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Five Rustavi and four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. Rustavi have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Kutaisi.
